Origin and terroir: Sourced from the Machare Kilimanjaro forest estate on the slopes of Kilimanjaro, just below the Rainforest, this coffee is part of our Plan Vivo Project in the Karagwe region, delivering unique character from a protected nature reserve.
Sustainability and impact: The program includes carbon offsets from the Emiti Nibwo Bulora "Trees Sustain Life" project, run by VI-Agroforestry. The initiative supports smallholder farmers through tree planting, agroforestry diversification, nitrogen fixation, and sustainable land management practices.
Packaging and use: Available in a 227 g bag, this coffee is well suited for home espresso and other brewing methods, offering a distinctive Tanzanian cup with a storytelling sustainability profile.
