Organic Japanese Ume Su (Ume Plum Seasoning) 250ml delivers a bright, vinegar-like tang derived from pickle-fermenting Umeboshi plums with red Perilla leaves. Rooted in Edo-period traditions, this seasoning blends tart acidity with subtle fruity notes, making it a versatile enhancer for a wide range of dishes.

Produced by a four-generation family operation on a mountain farm in Wakayama prefecture, the trees are non-grafted, with several over 70 years old. New umeboshi trees are cultivated from the farm’s best plums and are not harvested for at least five years. The product is organic, vegan, and non-GMO, grown sustainably without fertilisers.
